Connect your account with your partner to start sharing your journey together.
How Partner Linking Works
Pending sent and received invitations appear separately. Once connected, both people see the actual partner account. ReKindle permits one active relationship per account and never replaces an existing relationship automatically.
Steps to Link
Open Settings → Partner, choose the invitation action, and enter the email address where your partner wants to receive the invitation. They do not need an account yet. ReKindle emails a private invitation link.
Your partner opens the email link, signs in with their preferred account, and completes onboarding if needed. The invitation screen shows who invited them and which account will connect. They must tap Connect to finish; opening the link or signing in never connects automatically. Use another account preserves the invitation while switching accounts. Not now dismisses it without connecting.
Without opening the link, signing in with the invited email also reveals the invitation on Home, in Partner Settings, and during onboarding. Review it and confirm the account before connecting. A different email requires the private link.
Invitations expire after seven days. Resending replaces the previous private link and starts a new seven-day window; a five-minute resend cooldown applies. If an older beta link asks for a replacement, ask the inviter to resend it.
Unlinking
You can unlink at any time:
- Go to Settings → Partnership
- Tap "Unlink Partner"
- Confirm your choice
Unlinking is immediate and resets your shared balance.
FAQ
Can I use a different email? Yes, when opening the private invitation link. Confirm the account you want to connect.
What if I have no account or app? Create an account after opening the link. The browser flow works without an installed app.
What if I lost the email? Sign in with the invited email to review the invitation in-app, or ask your partner to resend it. Never share the private link publicly.
