Settings

Manage your profile and preferences from the Profile screen. It is organized into three tabs: Account, Partner, and Settings.

Account​

Personal Information​

Edit your profile details:

  • Name β€” Your display name visible to your partner
  • Birthday β€” Used for personalized suggestions and reminders
  • Gender β€” Helps tailor content to your relationship
  • Email β€” Shown for reference (read-only, linked to your login)

Tap Save after making changes.

Subscription​

View your current plan and upgrade to access premium features like unlimited AI suggestions, extended chat sessions, and more.

Data & Privacy​

  • User ID β€” Your unique account identifier
  • Delete Account β€” Permanently removes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Partner​

When Linked​

Once you and your partner are connected:

  • Partner Card β€” View your partner's name, email, and profile picture
  • Partner Badges β€” See which badges your partner has earned
  • Unlink β€” Disconnect from your partner. If your subscription depends on the link, you'll be warned before confirming.

Invitations​

  • Send an Invitation β€” Enter your partner's email to send a link request
  • Pending Invitation Received β€” Accept or decline an incoming request
  • Pending Invitation Sent β€” Cancel or resend your invitation

Settings​

Notifications​

  • Push Notifications β€” Receive alerts on your device for partner activity, reminders, and updates
  • Email Notifications β€” Get email summaries and important updates

Appearance​

  • Theme β€” Choose between Light, Dark, or Auto (follows your device setting)

Language​

  • App Language β€” Switch between English, FranΓ§ais, EspaΓ±ol, Deutsch, and Italiano

Changing the language regenerates your AI profile and suggestions in the new language. Liked suggestions are preserved.

Onboarding​

  • Show Help Buttons β€” Controls the "?" button that appears in the header of each screen

When you first use ReKindle, each screen shows a guided tour highlighting key features. After one week β€” once you've seen all the tours β€” the "?" button hides automatically to keep the interface clean.

To bring it back, toggle "Show help buttons" on. The "?" button reappears on every screen β€” tap it to replay that screen's tour on demand.

Privacy​

Manage how your data is used. Tap to open the privacy panel:

  • Crash Reports β€” Send anonymous crash data to help us fix bugs (enabled by default)
  • Analytics β€” Share usage data to help improve the app (opt-in, disabled by default)
  • Personalization β€” Allow personalized content and suggestions (enabled by default)
  • Marketing β€” Receive promotional communications (opt-in, disabled by default)
