Our Commitment

Rekindle is an adults-only (18+) relationship app designed exclusively for committed couples. We are deeply committed to protecting children from exploitation and abuse.

Our platform has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM) or any inappropriate content involving minors.

Age Verification & Restrictions

Rekindle requires all users to be 18 years of age or older.

Age is collected during onboarding and verified against our terms of service. Accounts found to belong to minors are immediately suspended and permanently deleted.

Adults Only: Rekindle is strictly for adults (18+). No exceptions.

Content Standards

All user-generated content is subject to our strict content policy.

The following content is strictly prohibited:

CSAEM: Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors
Minor imagery: Any images, videos, or depictions involving minors in a sexual context
Grooming: Any attempt to groom, solicit, or exploit minors
Minor contact: Any attempt to initiate contact with minors through our platform

Zero Tolerance: Any content that violates these standards will result in immediate account termination and will be reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.

Reporting Mechanisms

Rekindle provides an in-app reporting mechanism that allows users to report any content or behavior that may involve child exploitation or abuse. Reports are reviewed by our trust & safety team within 24 hours.

How to report:

In-app button: Use the 'Report' button available on any content or user profile
Safety email: Contact us directly at safety@rekindle-app.com
Emergency: For immediate threats to a child's safety, contact local emergency services immediately

NCMEC CyberTipline: We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as required by US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A). International cases are also reported to relevant national authorities.

Adult-only design: Platform built and marketed exclusively for adults (18+)
Age gating: Age verification required during registration
Content moderation: Automated and human review of content that may violate our policies
Zero-tolerance enforcement: Immediate account termination for any CSAEM violations
Authority reporting: Mandatory reporting to NCMEC and law enforcement for confirmed cases
Regular audits: Periodic internal audits of our child safety practices and policies

Law Enforcement Cooperation: Rekindle cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations involving child safety. We maintain logs and will provide information to authorized law enforcement agencies as required by law.
