Partner Reminder Settings

If you share a date with your partner, you can set separate reminder offsets:

  • Your Reminder Offset - When you want to be reminded
  • Partner Reminder Offset - When your partner wants to be reminded

Example:

  • Sarah's birthday
  • Your reminder: 1 month before (time to shop for a gift)
  • Partner's reminder: 1 week before (they prefer shorter notice)

Both always receive day-of reminders regardless of their advance reminder settings.

Shared Dates

Sharing with Your Partner

When linked with a partner, you can share important dates:

What happens when shared:

  • βœ… Both partners see the date
  • βœ… Both receive reminders (based on their individual offset preferences)
  • βœ… Date appears in both partners' "Coming Up" section on Dashboard
  • βœ… Both can view details

What's restricted:

  • ❌ Only the date creator can edit or delete
  • ❌ Partner can view but not modify
