Perfect for: Committed couples who want more

Price: $9.99/month

Everything in Ember with significantly higher limits on profile generations, suggestion generations, and AI chat messages, plus image analysis for manual suggestions.


⚑ Blaze - "Burn brighter together"​

Perfect for: Power couples who want it all

Price: $19.99/month

Unlimited profile and suggestion generations, the highest AI chat message allowance, generous image analysis limits, priority support, and early access to new features.

Understanding Usage Limits​

Each plan includes limits on AI-powered features like profile generations, suggestion generations, AI chat messages, and image analysis. These limits reset on regular intervals (monthly or weekly depending on the feature).

Viewing Your Usage​

Check your current usage at any time:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. See your current plan and effective tier
  3. View usage for each feature with remaining allowances

What Happens When You Hit a Limit?​

Graceful Degradation​

When you reach a limit, you'll see a friendly message explaining:

  • Which limit you've reached
  • When it will reset
  • Option to upgrade for more capacity

You can still use:

  • Balance tracking
  • Important Dates
  • Daily Check-ins
  • View existing suggestions
  • All other app features

You cannot:

  • Generate new AI profiles (if profile limit reached)
  • Generate new AI suggestions (if suggestion limit reached)
  • Send AI chat messages (if chat limit reached)

Upgrading Your Plan​

How to Upgrade​

Coming Soon

Payment integration is currently in development. For now, all users have access to Ember features.

To request an upgrade during beta testing, please contact support.

When payment is available:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Tap "Upgrade Plan"
  3. Choose your desired tier
  4. Complete payment
  5. Enjoy your new limits immediately!

Immediate Benefits​

When you upgrade:

  • βœ… New limits apply instantly
  • βœ… Unused credits from your old plan are preserved
  • βœ… No waiting period

Downgrading Your Plan​

How to Downgrade​

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Tap "Change Plan"
  3. Select a lower tier
  4. Confirm downgrade

What Happens​

  • Changes take effect at the end of your billing period
  • You keep your current benefits until then
  • Usage resets to new plan limits next billing cycle

If You're Over New Limits​

If you've used more than your new plan allows:

  • You keep existing content (suggestions, dates, etc.)
  • You cannot generate new content until next reset
  • Consider timing your downgrade appropriately

Billing & Payment​

Payment Methods​

Accepted:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit Cards
  • Apple Pay (iOS)
  • Google Pay (Android)

Billing Cycle​

  • Charged monthly on the same date you subscribed
  • Can cancel anytime
  • Pro-rated refunds for annual plans (when available)

Cancellation​

To cancel:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation

What happens:

  • Subscription remains active until end of billing period
  • You keep your paid benefits until then
  • Automatically downgrades to Ember (Free) after period ends
  • All your data is preserved

Frequently Asked Questions​

Q: Can I try Flame or Blaze before paying?

A: During beta, some users have access to higher tiers. Once payment launches, we may offer a free trial period.

Q: Do both partners need separate subscriptions?

A: No! Subscriptions are automatically shared between linked partners. When one partner has a paid subscription, both enjoy the premium benefits. If both partners have paid subscriptions, the highest tier applies to both. See Partner Subscription Sharing below for details.

Q: What happens if I cancel?

A: You keep access to your paid tier until the end of your billing period, then downgrade to Ember (Free). All your data remains safe.

Q: Can I get a refund?

A: Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support within 14 days of purchase.

Q: Do unused limits roll over?

A: No, limits reset each period. Use them or lose them!

Q: Is there a yearly payment option?

A: Not currently, but annual plans with discounts are planned for the future.

Q: Can I gift a subscription to someone?

A: Not yet, but gift subscriptions are coming soon!

Q: What if I need more than Blaze offers?

A: Blaze has unlimited profile and suggestion generations. If you need more AI chat messages, contact us for enterprise options.


Partner Subscription Sharing​

When you link with a partner in ReKindle, your subscriptions are automatically shared!

How It Works​

  • One Pays, Both Benefit: If you have a paid subscription (Flame or Blaze), your linked partner also gets access to those premium benefits
  • Highest Tier Wins: If both partners have paid subscriptions, the higher tier applies to both (e.g., one has Flame + one has Blaze = both get Blaze benefits)
  • No Setup Required: Subscription sharing happens automatically when you link with a partner

Subscription Indicators​

In the app, you'll see helpful badges in your subscription settings:

  • 🟒 "Shared from Partner" - You're enjoying premium features from your partner's subscription
  • πŸ”΅ "Sharing with Partner" - Your partner is benefiting from your subscription
  • ⚠️ "Both Partners Have Subscriptions" - A hint that one of you could save money

If you unlink from your partner:

  • Immediate Effect: Each partner returns to their own subscription tier
  • No Grace Period: If you were using your partner's subscription benefits, you lose access immediately
  • Warning Shown: The app warns you about subscription impact before you confirm unlinking
  • Notification Sent: Both partners are notified about the change

Tips for Couples​

  • πŸ’‘ Save Money: Only one partner needs to pay - the benefits are shared automatically
  • πŸ’‘ Choose Wisely: Decide together which partner should hold the subscription
  • πŸ’‘ Upgrade Together: If one partner upgrades, both benefit immediately
Partner Sharing Tip

If both you and your partner have paid subscriptions, one of you could cancel and save money! The higher-tier subscription will continue to cover both of you.
